Plot Summary:

In the distaste comedy Zombieland focuses on two men who contain found a way to survive a world attack next to zombies. Columbus is a consequential wuss -- but when you're afraid of being eaten by zombies, fear can keep you crowded. Tallahassee is an AK-toting, zombie-slaying' disappointing ass whose separate determination is to be noised abroad the form Twinkie on mother earth. Claudia PuigThe humor is vicious and the supporting cast is viscous. But underlying the carnage in Zombieland is a sweetly beating heart. Ludicrous as it sounds, a film featuring rampaging, blood-oozing zombies and wide-eyed Little Miss Sunshine blasting a cap in whichever undead body parts are available makes for delightful entertainment. This road movie/horror flick/dark comedy/earnest romance/action film hybrid laces a gentle drollness through all the bloody mayhem. Mostly, it's just wicked fun. Dennis HarveyBy now there have been quite enough zombie comedies to constitute a little subgenre of their own. If Zombieland doesn't grade at the head of its class -- the valedictorian still being Shaun of the Dead -- this lively splatstick item is nonetheless way above the remedial likes of Zombie Strippers, to name one among many recent lower-budgeters. Benefiting from the very different but very appealing comedy styles of Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg even when the script's wit runs thin, this should be catnip to jaded genre fans, with decent niche theatrical returns and solid long-term ancillary biz signaled.
