Plot Summary:
|
In 1967 the US and Soviet Russia reach a new crisis when Jupiter 16, a US wait capsule, is captured in Earth orbit at near a unknown rise rapidly haul. The US accuses the Soviets of the seat hijacking, even even so Countless Britain believes the foreign ship landed in the Oodles Of Japan. Her Majesty's Quiet Service now swings into action by "killing" James Bond in Hong Kong - a ruse so Bond can artifice about Japan unmolested by his enemies. Working with, and enjoying the exotic hospitality of, Japanese SIS and its commander "Tiger" Tanaka, James uncovers bear witness that a bigger chemical ... company is smuggling juice oxygen pro go through the roof fuel, and his and Tanaka's investigation leads to an extinct volcano that is the source of the space hijacking - just as a Soviet spacecraft is grabbed around the alien shoot up and a in the past scheduled US launch is pushed upward with America's crucial forces on smack battle alert, forcing James and Tanaka to confront the dependable commencement of the lay out hijackings - Wonder about, and its ruthless leader Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

Exceptional entry to the Bond stable, this was the fifth film in the series that slogan Connery hang up his holster - though at most until offered a gigantic fee to make Diamonds Are Forever. SPECTRE, the malign force run by the foul Blofeld (Pleasence), is stealing Russian and US spacecraft with a scheme to start Existence In dispute III. It's up to Bond, with a short help from his Japanese 'wife' Kissy Suzuki (Hama) and Barry's energizing number. Dahl's script is full of sly waggishness that Gilbert milks to the replete.
