Plot Summary:
|
Sam Lombardo is a happily-respected Florida high school guidance councelor who gets his ‚lan vital turned upside down when two students, spoiled rich-girl Kelly Van Ryan, and trailer-trash bad-girl Suzie Toller, do rape charges against him in which police detective Flash Duquette investigates the allegations. But not everything is what it appears to be and the brawny query arises: who is deceiving who?

WILD CHILD GETS BACON
This is a raunchy, fast paced movie with a wierd and wonderfull cast incl. Kevin Bacon, Bill Murray, Matt Dillion and the lovely Neve Campbell.
The film starts seriously enough but then develops into a twisting, black comedy. I particlarly liked Bill Murray's cameo as an ambulance chasing lawyer.
Better than other 'teen movies' such as Cruel Intentions.
Wild Things
Convoluted, over the top and hugely enjoyable thriller. Overflowing with gratuitous nudity, graphic violence, group sex, celebrity cameos and innovative plot twists
High school guidance counsellor Lombardo (Dillon) is accused of raping a rich kid student (Richards), but when Detective Ray (Bacon) is assigned to the case and local white trash Suzie (Campbell) comes forward as a witness, matters become very complicated indeed.
The glossy coating may give it the look and feel of a feature-length 90210 episode, but, actually, there's a neat, tricksy little movie at work here that, happily, piles on the twists and steams up the screen with its little-left-to-the-imagination sex scenes.
Verdict
Trashy, yes, but unashamedly enjoyable.
