Plot Summary:
|
After robbing a prompt of $300,000 and murdering four men in the development, Cody Jarrett (Jimmy Cagney) and his gang hide away in a mountain log bungalow. Cody is so united to his Ma (Margaret Wycherly), he neglects his strife Verna (Virginia Mayo), on whom Successfully Ed (Steve Cochran) has designs. Ed also has ambitions to call for over the gang.
