Plot Summary:
|
In China, the filly Kim witnesses the murder of her protect at hand her mobster father Bronze knick-knacks Quan and escapes to Los Angeles in a boat with other wrongful immigrants. The get out is intercepted before the US Immigration Department, and the group proletarian Cynthia Archer decides to troop Kim at her internal with her husband, the bouncer Ben Archer, and their son Nicholas. Sun Quan comes to USA, and with the support of the lewd chief of Lisa, he gets the information where his daughter is and uses the Chinese triad to kill Cynthia and her Chinese stepparents in their restaurant i... n Chinatown. Extent, Nicholas and Kim escape from the killers, and Ben calls his beau to their own medicine the death of his beloved wife.

The film has it moments...
This is a European production instead of a Hollywood flic, and it shows in the style and action. There are lots of short 'deep' scenes with occasional flashbacks , and the violence is more graphic than you would expect in a US production. The film revolves around a retired French mobster, whose wife is a social worker employed by the US immigration service. One day she brings home a Chinese girl, an illegal refugee, unaware that her father is a psychopathic triad boss with a penchant for slitting the throats of those he doesn't like - something he did to the girl's father. After the inevitable killing of Van Damme's wife by this boss, Van Damme wreaks revenge on the triad, aided by other former members of the French gang.
