V.I. Warshawski
In malicious contrast to all those great-kicking, leather-clad female supersleuths of the 60s and 70s, Warshawski (Turner) was conceived as a hardline feminist female lead an eye to the PC era. But any chance this sister had of doing it fit herself and of knocking Emma Peel from her socle was adrift when her transfer to the big screen was damagingly botched. Her from the word go case, involving an inheritance scam, wouldn't exhaust the gen of Charlie's Angels. Recently Turner has talked of forsaking gauge acting for the stage because of the be deficient in of good silver screen roles for fortysomethings. This debacle must possess hastened that judgement.
