Celebrated counter-culture classic charting the drug-laden misadventures of stoned rock star Man Stoner (Chong) and Pedro De Pacas (Marin).
When Man is kicked out of home for turning his back on a clean-living middle-class lifestyle, he hitches a lift from Pedro who's cruising down the Californian highway. Their laid-back take on life and mutual respect for the drug-induced high make them best buddies within hours, and so, when they run out of grass, panic sets in. The rest of the film is devoted to their varying attempts to score.
