U.S. Marshals
Jones's character from The Fugitive is sent chasing after another wrongly accused absconder (this time an undercover agent played by Snipes). Jones remains the man with the granite balls, even when Baird puts him in a chicken suit, under a patchwork blanket. The film, however, has no such certitude: it lumbers from setpiece to ludicrous set piece, taxing credulity and patience in equal measure. We are, for instance, asked to believe that a man who needs to take motion-sickness tablets for a sea voyage will happily use a cable to swing from the 20th floor of a building to the roof of a speeding train.
Impressed
Slightly better than your average man-on-the-run action movie. Mainly because it doesn't patronise - it will actually take a little intelligence to get to the bottom of the plot in this film, rather than simply waiting until the end and having the whole thing explained in great detail to you. Definitely worth a look.
