Two Hands
This elegant, slyly scripted urban crime caper marked official Gregor Jordan's headline debut. Heath Ledger and Bryan Brown headliner, and there's a fine twist that helps alter amends for the purpose some failed gambits. The decision to secure the proceedings narrated via Ledger's impervious brother is wretched, as is a contrivance involving a street urchin. Moreover, the storyline, in which a ordinary courier business on behalf of Throng boss Brown goes wrong, is doggedly probable. Yet, the bank loot sequence has a pleasing knockabout standing and Ledger's attempt to decoy woods tally Rose Byrne is winningly oafish.
