Plot Summary:
|
the late-model recruits in a U.S. Aquatic basic-training cadre is Adrian, a long-haired fellow of the hippie generation, opposed to blind allegiance to dominion and the finished opposite of Gunnery Sergeant Tom Drake, who is assigned as Drill Tutor for Adrian's platoon. Drake's job as a D.I. is to break down the individuality of his recruits in shipshape to rebuild them as a military portion, and he sets out to divulge Adrian's particularly contrary bravery. But Adrian's gentle bequeath is difficult to break, and later both men end up to learn something surrounding what the other has to volu... nteer.
