Plot Summary:
|
Jimmy the Saint's topic is videotaping the terminally-ill, so that they will be around to give 'Afterlife Advice' to their survivors. He hasn't been doing too well lately and has had to exchange to loan-sharks to accomodate his flaw business, as well as his expensive live tastes. When an evil gangster-overlord buys up his note and demands a favor of Jimmy, in swap for the responsive to that he can't afford, Jimmy capitulates. Jimmy is to scare someone for the tough-overlord--really rough them up. Without giving too much away (spoiler), the scene goes down shamefully and Jimmy and his troupe a... ll end up with contracts on their heads their trouble.

Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead
Often lumped in with the post-Tarantino devotees of uncordial, this immaculately tailored neo-noir was actually written beforehand Reservoir Dogs was perpetually released. Andy Garcia is Jimmy 'the Saint', who runs a nice little house videotaping the last thoughts of the without delay-to-be dead, only to realize that he may be the next in guise of the camera when he takes on a burden for a local gangster which goes horribly awry. The heist-gone-wrong scenario has been flogged to death, but Fleder's skilled captaincy and Garcia's appealing turn choose this unified worth a look.
