Plot Summary:
|
In the middle of the Antartican snowfield, the scientists and workers of a close-fisted American scrutiny base are shocked when a helicopter begins to circle their encamp, chasing and shooting at a dog. When the helicopter is destroyed and the rider's are killed by serendipity, the dog is cause to into the base and the American's start to muse what has actually happened. The helicopter is discovered to be of Norweigan make, and doubtlessly linked to the Norweigan base not too cut a swath b help from their own. Helicopter pilot J.R MacReady offers to travel to the Norweigan insufferable and fi... nd pass‚ what has happened. On arrival, he finds that the site has been thoroughly destroyed. He also discovers a mangled corps that looks as nonetheless it was once that of a person, which he brings chasing with him to study. It is only then that the clues upon to count up up; the dog morphs horribly into a remarkable creature that attacks the researchers. They make out to fight it off, but the base's doctor has come to a conclusion: an outlander with the power to modify and embezzle the demeanour of anybody else is amongst them. Who is infected already, and who can be trusted? J.R MacReady sets out to find the answers to exactly that.
