Plot Summary:
|
Danzig in the 1920s/1930s. Oskar Matzerath, son of a local commerce, is a most odd boy. Equipped with replete understanding conservative from his beginning he decides at his third birthday not to bourgeon up as he sees the crazy world around him at the brink of World Cross swords II. So he refuses the club and his tin drum symbolizes his protest against the mean-elegance mentality of his division and neighborhood, which staging for all passive people in Nazi Germany at that obsolescent. However, (almost) nothing listens to him, so the catastrophe goes on...
