Plot Summary:
|
The story, dispose in 1999, is told in flashback form: in June 1974 a federal law agent, Benjamín Espósito, becomes spellbound close to and subsequently entangled in the questioning of the crime of a young woman, brutally raped and murdered inside her establishment in a Buenos Aires neighbourhood. Her widowed quiet, bank hand Ricardo Morales, is shocked by the news; Espósito vows to find the killer and talk about him to justice. In his troubles he is aided close to his dipso assistent Pablo Sandoval and a settler, the control class attorney-at-law Irene Menéndez-Hastings, who takes for as conditional on chief. Espósito's rivaling partner Romano pins the murder on two alien workers so as to effect on rid of the matter - an appear that enrages Espósito, who attacks Romano in a fury.

After identifying him as a Racing Club fan, Espósito and Sandoval wait upon a soccer fit where Racing Club plays against Huracán in hopes of catching Gómez. With the benefit of the gendarmes officer Molinari and his men, they pimples him among the assemble, but a sudden ambition provides the predestined interruption by reason of Gómez to transgression away. A surreal striving after ensues in which Gómez nearly vanishes, but he's in the end knocked down in the centre of the pitch. Espósito and Irene Hastings later on stage a spurious, in great measure illegal grilling at advocacy. They inherit in bringing him to concede the liquidation by taunting him and hurting his macho pride.
Justice seems served; manner, only just a year later, Gómez is released by a unforgiving Romano, who is nowadays working for a control's agency. In an increasing political violence, Gómez is set to operate as a hitman for the far-right wing of the Peronist party.
