Plot Summary:
|
The People Under the Stairs is the curriculum vitae of a young friend (Goon) from the ghetto and takes position succeed on his 13th birthday. In an attempted burglary (along with two others) of the home of his kindred's evil landlords, he becomes trapped core their broad suburban house and discovers the secret of the "children" that the certifiable associate and sister should prefer to been "rearing" beneath the stairs.

Wes Craven was isolated to nearly his very best with this sly, satirical shocker, a novel-light of day fable in which the rich are thus feeding off the hard up. Young Brandon Adams stars as the young man from the ghetto who gets trapped in a gratis owned before touched in the head slum landlords Everett McGill and Wendy Robie (of Twin Peaks prominence), and discovers that he is not the only himself to depreciation victim to the couple.
