Plot Summary:
|
It's the wild pale and anything goes, strikingly in the untamed territory of Montana. Tom Logan (Jack Nicholson) leads a unite of cattle thieves out-moded exchange for take an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth when a person of its members is hanged by wealthy rancher David Braxton. Braxton, in any event, has hired expert manhunter Lee Clayton (Marlon Brando) to stop off the troupe conspire at any cost. Clayton is a crazed man, driven half mad by the loneliness of his profession, a throw who purposefulness never stop until he has gotten his quarry. Tom Logan is not intimidated and confr... onts Clayton himself. THE MISSOURI BREAKS is another creative anti-western from Penn. LITTLE BIG Valet, this film takes a hard look at what life was like in the wild West, keeping the characters legitimate and the story earnest. Marlon Brando gives an unnerving performance as the insane bounty tracker, and Nicholson is sympathetic as the young but wearied cattle rustler who is in lady-love with his the other side's daughter. The assembly overcame many difficulties with sickly and locations to create an entertaining Hollywood epic.
