Plot Summary:
|
A scholarship-disabled eighth-grader, Maxwell Kane (Elden Hansen) meets Kevin Dillon (Kieran Culkin), who's a bright, physically deformed youngster. Maxwell gets Kevin to tutor him in reading, and the two evolve into friends, sharing an steadfast optimism in spite of their difficulties.
