Plot Summary:
|
Englishmen race to allot the tomb of Ghengis Khan. They take to get there lecherously, as the evil genius Dr. Fu Manchu is also searching, and if he gets the mysteriously vigorous relics, he and his diabolical daughter disposition enslave the world!

The Mask of Fu Manchu
A tongue-in-cheek blend of apprehension and swashbuckler, with Karloff as the nasty Einstein Manchu frustrating to notice the great-concealed tomb of Genghis Khan (and thus law the magic), before the Brits depart there and scupper his plans. The flattering guys are pretty pallid, but Karloff enjoys himself immensely as Manchu, while Loy steals the film completely as his equally conniving daughter. Good escapist moonshine.
