In Victorian England, the uncle of orphaned niece Flora and nephew Miles hires Miss Giddens as governess to cause the children at his resources with totality independence and officialdom. Soon after her arrival, Bird Giddens comes to fancy that the spirits of the erstwhile governess Miss Jessel and valet Peter Quint are possessing the children.
