Plot Summary:
|
Ben has recently graduated college, with his parents at times with child great things from him. At his "Homecoming" party, Mrs. Robinson, the partner of his father's topic cohort, has Ben crusade her at ease, which leads to an affair between the two. The affair in the end ends, but comes back to haunt him when he finds himself falling to save Elaine, Mrs. Robinson's daughter.

The Graduate
"Mrs Robinson, you're upsetting to seduce me... aren't you?" muttered young college graduate Benjamin (Hoffman) to midriff-grey Mrs Robinson (Bancroft). And so one of the most famous seduction scenes in the movies was born. As well as the blistering script, it's the performers that make Mike Nichols' coating categorically name names. Hoffman was perfectly cast (legend has it that Robert Redford was from the outset offered the job) as the jaw-droppingly naive Benjamin.
