The Goonies
The immeasurable scar of the Spielberg genre, a silly naval scuttlebutt which takes forever to travel prevailing and is acted by way of children who bear not studied elocution. The trick effects when they come are OK, but it's a long annoying haul to that thrust.
The Goonies
"...A pic stamped with the Steven Spielberg style of merry fun....A comber coaster ride..."
The Goonies
Before making it big directing Macaulay Culkin in Harshly Unaccompanied, Chris Columbus wrote the screenplay from a story next to a certain Steven Spielberg for this trustworthy-natured romp, in which a gang of children tackles pirates while searching due to the fact that a fund of missing treasure. The history rattles along a juvenile Raiders of the Squandered Ark and the puerile leads — including Martha Plimpton, Sean Astin and Corey Feldman — are a likeable smock. There's also some nice hamming from villains Anne Ramsey, Joe Pantoliano and Robert Davi.
