Plot Summary:
|
In South Boston, the form the cops force is waging struggling on Irish-American organized crime. Young undercover cop Billy Costigan is assigned to infiltrate the canaille monopoly take by gangland chief Uninhibited Costello. While Billy quickly gains Costello's confidence, Colin Sullivan, a hardened young baddie who has infiltrated the nation police as an rat as far as something the syndicate, is rising to a position of power in the Bosom Probe Section. Each man becomes very much consumed close his double life, gathering information in all directions the plans and counter-plans of the operat... ions he has penetrated.
