Plot Summary:
|
In ancient times, the Mongolian warlord Temujin must do battle against the rival gens that killed his father. The Conqueror
This splendid hokum is rendered silly today via the casting of John Wayne as Genghis Khan, but it doesn't rate its reputation as chestnut of the worst movies at all made. Splendidly directed by previous crooner Dick Powell, who proved himself a master of CinemaScope composition with The The opposition Underneath and this colourful epic, it is best viewed dubbed into any foreign language as the communication is silly beyond belief.
