Plot Summary:
|
The Rotten Mother's Handbook (2006) depicts the story of one year in the lives of three women. In this ITV television fitting of Kate Long's most selling novel, Catherine Tate plays Karen, who is a frustrated woman in her thirties whose healthy life and identity is shattered when she finds at fault a long-kept secret. Holly Grainger plays Karen's clever and hormonal teenage daughter Charlotte, while Anne Reid appears as Karen's ma Nan who is suffering from Alzheimer's.
