Plot Summary:
|
When Jane Parker unexpectedly arrives in Africa to visit her beget, she also finds herself accompanying him and hunter Harry Holt on an exploration to a mysterious escarpment to find the legendary elephants graveyard and its catch of ivory. Having reached the escarpment, they get a load of a strange white the human race living in the trees an ape. He promptly kidnaps Jane but means her no harm and he eventually sets her liberal, but not before her father and Holt kill harmonious of the apes. When local tribesmen engage Jane and her father prisoner, Tarzan comes to their rescue and causes a r... un by the autochthonous village. Jane is taken the confusing ape man but she also feels it necessary to support her father, as she is all she has port side in the cosmos. In the stop, she opts to vamoose her flavour with Tarzan.

This is the in the beginning, and classiest, movie in the series starring Olympic swimming champion Johnny Weissmuller as the jungle swinger created away Edgar Rice Burroughs. Directed by WS Van Dyke, with a dip into to confirm his monicker of "Sole-Take Woody", the tale introduces the ape-reared boy to future collaborator Jane (Maureen O'Sullivan), daughter of huffing-and-puffing C Aubrey Smith, who's searching in favour of an elephant graveyard.
