Tales of Terror
The least successful of the classic Corman/Poe adaptations. Corman's laconic-yarn format doesn't rouse as a , even notwithstanding that the individual stories are diverting tolerably. In Morella Prize plays the widower who has a bizarre way of remembering his dead little woman; in The Black Cat a mistrusting Lorre decides to power some bricks and paste to teach his cheating helpmate and her lover a precept; and in The Case of Mr Valdemar Cost once again demonstrates that people cross him at their danger. Imaginatively directed, but Corman's can quiescent do a lot gamester than this.
