Plot Summary:
|
Wealthy businessman Ross Webster discovers the secret talents of Gus Gorman, a mischievous computer genius. Ross decides to abuse his talents, in a way to daily help Webster with his plans in requital for economic control. When the mortals of fortify interferes, something must be done about Supes. When Gus' synthetic Kryptonite fails to kill Superman, it turns him in an evil incarnation of his former self. The tar-laced Kryptonite pits crew against himself, surroundings up the Clark vs. Superman battle.

Superman III
The Superman franchise done gave up playing it straight in this third instalment. Director Richard Lester has great fun at the inception with a spectacular slapstick furor, but, alas, this is where the inventiveness ends, and Superman weariness lickety-split begins to set in. Especially ineffective are the scenes where Christopher Reeve's hero loses his power. When he regains his zap, he may be in epoch to save the faction once again, but it's much too fresh to redeem the movie. As for Richard Pryor, while he superiority partake of been paid more to appear in the picture than Reeve, his show is undeserving of a huge payday. However, he fares better than Robert Vaughn, who has to assign do with an embarassingly underwritten bad lad characte...
Superman III
Sometimes hilarious but overwritten and overacted variation on a exhausted point. The particular effects are the thing, but there's too much padding in between.
