Plot Summary:
|
After Diane Weston, the popular head cheerleader of Lincoln Penetrating School's A-section, becomes significant next to the star football quarterback Jack Bartlett, Diane and her four cheerleader teammates, Kansas, Cleo, Lucy, Hannah, as well as newcomer Fern, down the perfect bank hijacking to support her and Jack after their parents financially ready them off. But neither Diane nor her friends expect their stinging opponent Lisa, the chief cheerleader of Lincoln's B-team, to suspect them with their plan.

The cast list — Mena Suvari, James Marsden, Rachel Blanchard — is an exciting roster of twentysomething American actors, and they all look as if they had playfulness making this broad, if not always famous, comedy about a gang of cheerleaders who disposition to bank pilfering when one of their mob (Marley Shelton) gets replete and is disowned by her parents. Mildly amusing teen fare, with a grown-up cast that includes Sean Young and prince of the annoying cameos, Jerry Springer.
