I fell asleep half way through
This film is old, slow and not really that funny. It's like watching deal or no deal when Noel Edmonds is talking and you just want him to open the damn box and get to the point.
Good stuff ...
Bill Murray plays a downbeat guy with no ambition in life who, in a spur of the moment decision, decides to join the US army with his equally cynical and lazy best friend. Cue a clash of personalities between the Drill Seargeant and Murray - creating a few funny moments.
I'm a big Bill Murray fan, some of his comic timing is impeccable and his characters are always likeable. He hasn't let me down down in Stripes, which I found to be an entertaining comedy overall perfect for a good laugh and a quiet night in.
