Streets of Fire
Violent melodrama with an jinxed humorous strip approximate which fails to invigorate the material into the territory of myth.
Streets of Fire
Walter Hill (The Warriors, 48 HRS) obviously had fun with this cruel rock-fuelled fantasy immediately in a sort of youth refinement neverland. Viewers will have fun spotting the faces of subsequent stars such as Rick Moranis, Willem Dafoe, Amy Madigan, Tab Paxton, Diane Lane and Robert Townsend, although for Michael Satisfactoryé, who plays the brooding loner knight, this was in all probability his career high spray. Paré arrives back in township just in heretofore to gather up a posse of old friends and rescue his rock-star ex-girlfriend from the clutches of a uncharitable biker gang. Scored by the without equal Ry Cooder, the music also comes courtesy of retro-rockers the Blasters.
