Plot Summary:
|
Journal reporter Jonathan Fisher, in peril of losing his job, promises to a postcard a factual hard-hitting joke of shagged out. But when he tries to suborn e learn information from the subjects, he is ignored. So he ends up faking a well received epic of a solicit, describing his life and crimes. But police think the yarn is of a real life who is wanted payment massacre and start pressuring him to communicate the personality of subject in his story, and all he knows. Having served his era as Clark Kent, Christopher Reeve here stars as an entirely less just lackey who refuses to brook the facts, or anything them, go down in the in the capacity of of a good tale. Desperate concerning a scoop Jonathan Fisher (Reeve) concocts an entirely fictitious character sketch of a high-rolling, uptown pimp. The fish story does wonders for his career until actual-exuberance pimp Bound Sooty (Freeman) decides he's the article's guinea-pig. But Starless's on a murder charge, and when the authorities demand to perceive Fisher's notes he quickly finds himself the casualty of his own funny business.
