Plot Summary:
|
Jackie (Susan Sarandon) and Luke (Ed Harris) are divorcing after years of matrimony and two children, Anna and Ben. Their new stepmother, Isabel (Julia Roberts), wants to be complex in the children's life, but is unwilling to sacrifice anything for her work. Jackie considers this to be selfish and coarse, sparking a clash between the two women. When cancer enters the idea, everyone is mannered to spring up in order to reconcile their differences. A tearjerker in the truest impression of the poop.

This film shows great acting skills revolving around a great down to earth plot facing a lot of modern issues which some us have to face. Not one to miss out on.

Newly resident in the home of divorced lawyer Luke (Harris), fashion photographer Isabel (Roberts) tries to make friends with his precocious children but her advances aren't helped by their loyalty to biological mother Jackie (Sarandon), whose death by cancer is presented as a sort of New Age rite of passage.
