Michael and Elise are about to get married. Their high school and college friends gather together championing the merger and resolve some issues. Lana is in therapy and when Elise's ex shows up from London she begins to perceive what has been troubling her all these years. Involves a a mass of crapulence and some drug necessity.
This movie had a little bit of everything that I was looking for tonight. The plot synopsis doesn't really describe it too well. The story revolves around a wedding that is taking place between two college grads that were lovers in school years after graduation. This event brings the couples old group of friends together including a go get em agent, a lonely depressed lovesick man, a cocky and drunken actor, a bi polar female with no luck in love, another couple that was together in college as well, and the bride's old college roomate from London. As the movie progresses you get into the character's heads and start to discover their secrets and why they are the way they are, and what they are going to do in the future to change the paths they are on. Though it does have some cheesy lines, it also brought me genuine smiles and some misty eyes. A great coming of age story that I would be happy to watch again.
