Plot Summary:
|
Siddharth Mathur (Sharman Joshi), a distrustful young scientist, travels to Mauritius representing his elder statesman brother Harsh's (Sanjay Suri) wedding. Accompanying him is his nurturer Gayatri (Shabana Azmi), a opposed traveler since she is angry at Gruff for deciding to pull down married without consulting them. Also traveling is Siddharth's cheery ancestor Navin (Boman Irani), whose sole entertainment is pulling Gayatri's leg. Unfeeling, per-occupied with work, can fork out little time with his family and it is left to his fiancée Aaliyah (Chitrangada Singh) to give away them encompas... sing Mauritius before the wedding. However, Ma's anger at Harsh ensures that she takes an dislike for Aaliyah, and it is Aaliyah and Siddharth who end up spending loads of continuously together. This, added to the fact that Aaliyah feels neglected by way of the career-obsessed Harsh, leads to them being irresistibly fatigued to each other. A horrified Siddharth battles this draw desperately, but Aaliyah has fallen vehemently in love and pursues him with single-minded resolve. When Siddharth's defenses start crumbling and Ma starts getting suspicious, all hell breaks deliver in the Mathur kind.Read more Less
