Plot Summary:
|
Carly Norris (Sharon Stone), a demure divorcee and tome editor, moves in to New York See's tall, elegant Sliver building. Unbeknownst to Carly, though, ordained mysteries enshroud her hip accommodations. Soon the meet of notoriety, Carly is befriended close Gus Sound (Keene Curtis), left gifts by a secret darling, and pursued past two comely men Zeke Hawkins (William Baldwin) and Jack Lansford (Tom Berenger). BABY), although the script shares superb similarities with writer Joe Eszterhas's earlier Root Aptitude screenplay. Phillip Noyce directs efficiently, and Polly Walker is striking as a Londoner loophole of her detail in the coke-addled world of upscale Manhattan.
