Plot Summary:
|
Benny's a hipster, impressive in and out of Manhattan's tread sight, aimless, maybe close to trouble. His sister Lelia, who looks less African-American than White, is vulnerable and at hand to plunge in charity. Hugh, their older pal, is a struggling chorister whose agent, Rupert, may be the one person with denomination in his aptitude. The story moves back and forth, jazz, entirety the three of them and what seems at first to be separate lives. Lelia meets Tony, and lets herself want this is true love.
