With Pronounce IT ISN'T SO, the Farrelly Brothers (THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY, DUMB AND DUMBER) yield their former from the word go have to do with guide J. B. Rogers a shot at the big time. The result is another natural comedy that finds laughs in a series of outrageous situations. Working from a script alongside first-timers Peter Gaulke and Gerry Swallow, the cloud tells the all bollixed up scenario of orphan Gilly Patrician (Chris Klein), who is employed at an coarse refuge in Shelbyville, Indiana. When he lands in the barber's run of the beautiful Jo Wingfield (Heather Graham), he's c... onvinced he's found the woman of his dreams. A passionate, steamy brown-nose develops, but when Gilly finds out-moded that he and Jo are actually successor from the unvaried parents, Valdine (Sally Mead) and Walter Wingfield (Richard Jenkins), he becomes a social outcast. Jo flees to Beaver, Oregon, to reunite with her former fiance, the wealthy but conniving Jack Mitchelson (Eddie Cibrian), but when Gilly learns that he isn't Jo's sibling after all, he must track her down to win towards the rear her affections. Unfortunately, Valdine wants Jack's readies, so she order do whatever it takes to keep the truth from coming out. Featuring pleasant performances around both Klein and Graham, Rogers's come out is a shrill comedy with a solid supporting cast.

The Farrelly brothers, nonetheless only producers here, have at the end of the day gone too . This is a gratuitously true to life and excluded addition to the type of crude comedy that has been so successful for them in recent years (There's Something about Mary, Speechless and Dumber). Chris Klein and Heather Graham, both misused here, play a marry of lovers whose affair is halted nearby speculation that they are fellow-countryman and sister.
