Plot Summary:
|
Straight-to-video sequel to the 2001 bop-drama blockbuster Reserve THE Mould DANCE. Izabella Miko steps into Julia Stiles' pointe shoes as aspiring ballerina Sara Johnson, who leaves her Chicago ghetto to reflect on at the prominent Juilliard Ready in New York City, under the tutelage of dance instructor Monique Delacroix (Jacqueline Bisset). As the story unfolds, Sara tangles with a jealous oppose (Maria Brooks) and falls fit a under age professor (Columbus Short), ensuring that the sequel is awash with the constant sort of passion and drama that made its parent film such a hit.

lame sequal
The only thing kept the same was the names of the characters. In the original she combines hip hop and ballet to achieve her goals whereas in the second she sidelines her dream and so the context is lost. Beyond the last dance every other dance scene is woefully short. Overall the film was a massive let down. Save your rental, watch 'step up' instead.
This was a sequence worth waiting for
save the last dance(1)was a film that ended, that keep alot of people in suspense, and a few questions were unanswered.
Save the last dance 2, should serve as a closure for all film lovers.
