Plot Summary:
|
When Santa Claus gets killed in a freak accessory after being startled on the rooftop of a concert-hall, it looks Christmas is ruined. But fortunately, just previous to his end, the jolly, contribution-giver passed the torch to ad foreman Scott Calvin (Tim Allen), who finishes the procedure of bestowing holiday cheer on all. When he conclusively reaches on the North Pole, however, Scott learns that he can't give up the craft -- he's become the next Santa Claus. (THAT'S the Santa Clause!). Scott returns home, alone to judge himself slowly changing into the pudgy, spotless-haired getting on i... n years man so worshipped of children... and to find that everyone roughly him considers him soul and stock mad.

Ever since accidentally killing Father Christmas in the original The Santa Clause (1994), Scott Calvin (Allen) has been wearing the big guy's red suit and delivering presents as the new Santa Claus. Eight years later, he's still going strong, with an army of elves manufacturing toys at their secret North Pole base and a long, long list of all the world's "Nice" and "Naughty" children.
