Plot Summary:
|
Cliff Spab is a guy who doesn't really be concerned about anything. He gets held hostage at a store recompense 36 days sooner than terrorists, who demand that the whole thing be transmit on patriotic television. Cliff ends up taking a bullet for gazabo surety Wendy - making him a chauvinistic idol. The two are the solitary survivors of the tragedy, and soon become prisoners of the media. Someone ought to have told writer-director Levy that you can't pull cult movies out of a hat. Everything close to this witless media satire - from its calculatingly offensive ownership (it stands for So Fucking What) to its cynical posturing - seems premeditated to appeal to disenfrachised youths. Needless to say, disenfranchised youths stayed away from the movie in droves. As the morose loafer turned folk idol Dorff tries laborious to coast along on his looks and attitude. Thankfully, co-supernova Witherspoon managed to put this go phut behind her and has moved on to genuine cult items Pleasantville and Election
