Mug!
Are Nick Love's movies too fa*kin' cerebral for ya? Then get straight dahn Blockbuster and get yourself some of this. And I ain't even avvin' a bubble, ya mug.
This film is allegedly based on the same true events that inspired the surprisingly respectable and proficient Sean Bean gangster flick Essex Boys, but such information suggests that this is going to have some kind of tenuous link to the real world. Not so. This is a loathsome, plotless and titanically mean-spirited cartoon that is so offensive and so depressing that it calls to mind nothing less than Meir Zarchi's evergreen vulgarity barometer I Spit On Your Grave.
Overlong and aimless, the flick just ambles briskly along, taking frequent pause to go off on random, inconsequential tangents, all of ...
AMAZING!
This film is AMAZING! BEST FILM IVE SEEN IN ALL YEAR! If you like football factory, green street, I.D and the krays then you should put them all together times that by one hundred and you get Rise of the footsoldier. Its full of hard core violance, people gettin axes in the head, fingers chopped off, nails hammerd into there body and loads of other cool stuff lol. And thats not all its based on a true story which in my oppinion makes films much better. Rent it go on you know you want to. Oh yeah and dont listen to the other review its NOTHIN like lock stock, dont know how someone could compare it to lock stock as its completly different.
