Plot Summary:
|
A cop (Denzel Washington) receives lots of media attention when he nabs an infamous, algolagnic butcher (John Lithgow) at an fun park. The hit man stews in jail to seven years, obsessively following the rising career of his arresting cop, who becomes a DA with a encouraging subsequent, a husband, and a dad. This doesn't sit well with the vengeful convict, who after escaping from prison, puts into play a series of fiendish plots in an attempt to terminate the attorney's marriage and career. And at worst through agreeable in a violent rematch with his diabolical nemesis will the desecrated DA be... able to explicit his name and scrape his marriage.
