Plot Summary:
|
The classic tale of 'Peter Spider' continues in Disney's sequel 'Replacing to Never Land'. In 1940 on a world besieged by World Wage war with II, Wendy, now grown up, has two children, one of them is her daughter, Jane. She wears her trench film during the air sortie, and later that night, Wendy tries to pay her own children hope by them of her magical experiences with Peter Pan in Never Land. No matter what, Jane, Wendy's daughter, sees it all as make fancy and refuses to believe in the tales. Disney's mercenary penchant for churning out straight-to-video sequels to its animated classics reaches its apogee with Return To Never Land (aka Peter Pan In Disney's Return To Never Land, for those in any doubt). It's a shameless cash-in whose single distinction is that it was granted a theatrical release - unlike Cinderella II: Dreams Come True, for example, or Beauty And The Beast: The Enchanted Christmas.

OK for the little kids
Without giving too much away, the basic plot is that Wendy now has a daughter called Jane who is transported to Neverland. There she meets Peter, the lost boys and Hook and his crew of pirates. This film is missing the ?magic? that was in the original Peter Pan and it is too short (approx 1hr). Had I paid to see this in a cinema, I think I would have felt I hadn?t got value for money. Probably OK for the little kids though.
