Real Genius
Slickly directed kids flicks that abandons any seriousness in kind deed of anarchic slapstick comedy; its message appears to be that too much common sense is bad fit you.
Real Genius
Enjoyable, if at times slightly knuckle-head, screwball comedy, moulded by some of the just the same minds that brought The cops Academy and Bachelor Party to the screen. Val Kilmer plays anyone of a gang of well-regulated prodigies holed up in an institute representing young boffins. But, while the youngsters are supposed to be expanding technology, and might be exploring the moral responsibilities of harnessing young brains to the darker purposes of the post-nuclear arms channel, they are far keener on getting up to black-hearted japes in the passageway. No real genius here, but intermittent festivity, nonetheless.
Real Genius
"...[The] performances are a extra with Kilmer vital and enjoyable to keep an eye open for and Jarret endearingly sincere..."
