Plot Summary:
|
A socially ill at ease but to a great extent bright 15-year-elderly jail-bait being raised past a unwed mom discovers that she is the princess of a small European country because of the recent expiry of her dream of-absent father, who, untold to her, was the authority prince of Genovia. She sine qua non make a between continuing the sustenance of a San Francisco teen or stepping up to the throne. While Mia makes up her affronted by, she's pressed into bewitching princess lessons from her grandmother.

superb family film
this film is superb. the princess diaries is a charming, modern day fairy tale with a positive message under the lighthearted surface.
Anne Hathaway's portrayal of Mia is excellent, with terrific timing and delivery, in her comic scenes, and with a touching subtlety in her dramatic moments.
Julie Andrews is wonderful, perfectly cast as the majestic queen, with an undercurrent of affection and vulnerability, beneath her regal exterior.
