Plot Summary:
|
The alibi begins with a unqualified Joe who tries desperately to seek employment, but embarks on a injurious rampage when he teams up with cult leader Uncle Dave. Their first act is to heist an divertissement put, only to learn that the Taliban are planning the same heist as well. Confusion ensues, and nowadays the Postal Man about town have to not merely overcharge on terrorists but national figures as well.

Interesting
I wanted to see this purely so that I could put my hand on my heart and tell people how bad it was, but after actually watching the film, I can't do that because Postal isn't the bad film people have been talking it up to be.
What Postal is, is a humorously bad film that could offend many people and probably should be condemned for some of it's scenes, but it is the most faithful adaptation of a video game that I have ever seen. A lot of ideas are borrowed directly from Postal 2 the game as the film has the same characters, a similar look and narrative feel.
The Brave and the Bold, and the Slightly Stupid
Any comedy film that opens with a couple of suicide bombers arguing over who will get the most virgins in paradise before crashing into the World Trade Centre (no lie) is not going to make friends easily, but I think Uwe Boll could care less.
Yep, its that weird German fella again making another computer game adaption (Postal was a 90's ultra violent game that got the cardigan wearing Daily Mail readers in a strop) and this time he's embracing his numerous bad critics and has made one of the most bizarre and offensive films in recent history. This is like Freddy Got Fingered all over again.
