Poison Ivy
A heady brew of incest, lesbianism, drunkenness and end which speedily goes flat.
Poison Ivy
ET's Drew Barrymore came of age in this alluring story nearly a penniless girl from the wrong side of the tracks who befriends affiliated loner Sara Gilbert (best known for her function as Darlene in Roseanne) and inveigles her way into Gilbert's well off family, with deadly results. There's a feel of music-video shape about chief Katt Shea Ruben's as surplus-smooth visuals, but she is well-served nearby the leads, in particular Barrymore, who's a pornographic but exposed junior femme fatale. Look out, too, for Charlie's Angels star Cheryl Ladd as Gilbert's sickly mother and Leonardo DiCaprio in one of his earliest roles.
