Plot Summary:
|
The Dirty Dozen meet the Steep Higher Lip. A British Petroleum top banana (Michael Caine) is assigned to work with the British Army in North Africa handling port duties conducive to incoming fuels. This gives him the documented rank of Captain in the British Army. The Colonel (Nigel Environmentalist) in cite of the Foul Dozen is told he must have a British officer be linked with his men on a dangerous pursuit 400 miles behind the German lines and is saddled with the Petroleum executive, who tries to row his way into public notice aside saying that his engage states he is to sole work anchorag... e duties. That argument is accursed on the Brigade Commander (Harry Andrews) who simply points out that the director is wearing a British unalterable. Michael Caine stars as the leader of a gang of ex-convicts drafted into the British Army in World Combat II to vandalize a German satisfy depot for Rommel's forces. Unbeknownst to Caine, the whole project is a scam dreamt up by army commander Harry Andrews and lettered Nigel Green who need to engross Rommel's troops with Caine and his combine while a more skilled army unit makes the trusted on the depot.
