Plot Summary:
|
Every community has a neighbourhood folk tale. Not all of them are pallid. Headed to Miami to wassail winter break, a group of four college students from New Jersey take a detour into the bowels of rural West Virginia. There, the unwitting friends uncover a grotesque title that stains the cloth of Rolling Glen, a sluggish backwoods town: the legend of Ray Williams, a black rubbish driver from Maine, on his procedure to Texas to dream up a delivery, brutally beaten by a bandeau of locals after stopping mouldy in town destined for a drink, his body left for dead in an empty cornfield and never b... ase. They learn of illicit sheriff Earl Taggart, who helped acquit the locals snarled in the deprecation, and who inert lords over the small village with an iron fist. Fifteen years later, whispers of the Williams set-to still float through the wiped out bored with walls and eaves of Rolling Glen. As the four friends quickly mark out, some believe Williams still roams the woods on the outskirts of town, surviving on the slaughter of wildlife. Others claim to sire seen Williams in man, a looming sign with a strange wan visage, purportedly a improvisation mould to mask the scars and wounds left from the barbarous assault. They cause a for Williams now: Plasterhead. Presently, the four friends consider themselves holed up in an abandoned farmhouse, mired in a macabre web of mad dog.
