Plot Summary:
|
'Folio 3' takes a behind-the-scenes look at A-list toast of the town lifestyles through the eyes of a female entertainment journalist. It explores the power-soft-soap between the rich and famous and the media. It is also the story of three girls trying to proceed towards a friendly living in an rude society.
Madhvi Sharma works as a Journalist with a regularly publication in Bombay. Her chore is to take down articles on the third errand-boy with updates on celebrities she meets at parties and convene-togethers, which start delayed at night and go on in to the microscopic hours of the next lig... ht of day. She gets to meet famous people and celebrities, all of whom receive her, and provide her with personal and establishment updates. She shares her room with Cream Sequiera, an outspoken air-hostess, who would like to meet a wealthy clap in irons, age ethereal, and decline down anywhere on Earth. While traveling at near a Borivali-bound Western Railway train on her way home to Malad, she meets with an attractive sophomoric woman named Gayetri Sachdeva, who has no place to live, is seasick because she drank fire-water as a remedy for the first time, and has also been the subject of sexual abuse at the hands of Charu Mohanty, a parallel membrane-maker. Madhvi's brings her over to apartment and makes her their elbow-room-mate. Then things change for Madhvi and her friends. Pearl meets her millionaire, a much older fellow, marries him and re-locates to New York. Gayetri gets pregnant by Rohit Kumar, a leading married Bollywood actor, who refuses to have anything to do with her, so she tries to hurt herself, does not succeed, but loses the spoil. She returns in serious trouble home to Delhi. Madhvi exposes Rohit's impersonation in Gayetri's close-by-obliteration, and is immediately asked to tender an apology to Rohit, which she does. She finds that she cannot handle her assignments anymore, and asks that she be transferred to work with Vinayak Mane on the crime bludgeon, and thus begins her experimental energy. She sees her some of celebrities in a fresh gaslight, especially Anjali Thapar, who volunteers with sophomoric orphans; and Pratima Bhave who also does considerable societal execute. Things metamorphose lickety-split for Madhvi when Anjali commits suicide; and she does an expose on exploitation of young children = which leads to the abortion of her retaining.
